The busy season is upon us, but if you’ve got the time to spend a couple of hours listening to old friends reading short stories and tales of the season, come join us at the Crane House, 508 4th Ave., Asbury Park Dec. 19 for an afternoon called “Season’s Readings: a Crane House Christmas.”
The festivies begin at at 2 p.m. It is the14th annual offering, and there is no charge for admission, but you’re welcome to bring an unwrapped toy for the Asbury Park toy drive. Or if you like, you can donate by check or cash to the Crane House’s favorite cause, the Asbury Park Little League. Light refreshments are always provided. Unfortunately, there will be no figgy pudding, whatever that is.
