Ocean Township Police Officer Michael Sorrentino, a 20-year veteran of the department, was promoted to the rank of Police Captain at last week’s Township Council meeting. Mayor Christopher Siciliano administered the oath of office while Sorrentino’s wife, Tracey, and his children, Brianna and Michael Jr., look on with other council members and Police Chief Steven R. Peters.
