The Bradley Beach Senior Club is looking for new members.
Being a Bradley Beach resident is not a requirement for membership.
The group recently met for lunch at the Black Trumpet in Spring Lake to enjoy each other’s company and discuss ways to recruit new members.
Leader of the group, Rebecca Wasson, read the mission statement to the club staying, “Our goal is to meet with friends as often as possible. It has been scientifically proven that group friendship strengthen the immune system which leads to longer lives.
“We want to provide the most enjoyment of the highest possible quality for the lowest cost to our members.
“We pledge to be kind to one another and to try to be happy.
“Senior citizens are our fountains of wisdom, the keepers of our memories and our beloved treasures.”
The group meets the second and fourth Wednesday at the Carmen Biase Senior Center on Main Street in Bradley Beach for Bingo, yoga, luncheons and games.
