Earlier this week, the Community Action Network convened citizens, public officials, law enforcement, community leaders and local pastors to continue the dialogue on reducing violence, providing support and strengthening our community.

Prayer as a community emerged a natural start to the healing process necessary as residents mourn the loss of life over the last few weeks across our nation; a pause to the work well underway in recent years in both Asbury Park and Neptune to find answers to difficult questions and to unite where we are divided.

Several congregation leaders from both Asbury Park and Neptune will offer prayers in a public forum. All faiths are encouraged to attend. All are welcome to participate in prayer.
