The Asbury Park Housing Authority is holding a meeting Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. in the Dr. Robinson Towers community room for area sub-contractors who would like to work on the new Boston Way Project.
The housing authority will demoliksh the current building, which has been vacant, and build 104 new units.
Housing Authority Chairman Gregory Hopson said “The development of the 104 new town-homes on the Boston Way site will not only provide the community with new state of the art housing, but also has the potential to provide contracting opportunities for groups that have been locked out of this lucrative business.”
Vice Chairman Frank Syphax said, “This is only the Housing Authority’s initial effort to gain jobs and a pay day for as many Asbury Park residents as possible.”
