The Neptune Municipal Alliance, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help prevent alcoholism and drug abuse, presents its 12th annual “Cops vs. Kids” basketball game on Mon., Nov. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Neptune High School Main Gym, 55 Neptune Boulevard. Join the Police Department and students from Neptune High School for an evening of basketball and fun. Students will be selected to participate on the team through tryouts that will be held before the game.
“The event is meant to bring the Kids and the Cops together in a positive setting, hoping to prevent future negative encounters. Events like this help to strengthen the relationship between students and the police and the community,” shares Dawn Thompson, Coordinator, Neptune Municipal Alliance.
