A recount in the Bradley Beach Borough Council election on Dec. 8 did not change the outcome in the race for four seats.
Planning Board Chairman William Psiuk, who went to court to ask for the recount after he finished fifth, picked up one vote, which was not enough to overtake fourth-place finisher Randy Bonnell.
Bonnell’s total of 954 votes was unchanged from the official results previously released by the Monmouth County clerk’s office.
Incumbent Harold Cotler, the leading vote getter, picked up two votes for a total of 1,071. Psiuk’s running mate, incumbent Norman Goldberg, added one vote, making his total 1,030. Third-place finisher John Weber added a vote for a total of 973.
The adjusted vote totals were released after the recount by County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon.
