Rep. Frank Pallone is coming to the Westside Community Center on DeWitt Avenue in Asbury Park to host a discussion about Democratic Party unity.
The event is set for Sat., Feb. 18 at 2 p.m.
“We have seen in the past few months from the millions that marched around the country on January 21st to the grassroots impromptu demonstrations against the immigration ban, that if we stand together as progressives, we can truly make a difference,” he said in a release from his office.
Pallone also said bringing change to your hometown or county is a great way to start. “As Tip O’Neill famously said, ‘All politics is local,’” Pallone said quoting the former Democratic Speaker of the House of Representatives.
“Join me to discuss how we can come together in unity as we look to win more elections locally and change the tide politically,” Pallone said.
