Asbury Park is in the process of developing a workforce development strategy, and now needs to hear from the people of Asbury Park directly.
The city has announced two public meetings for the Workforce Development Study, on May 15 at the Asbury Park Senior Center and May 16 at the City Council Chambers in City Hall.
The two public community input meetings will help the city officials better understand local priorities and workforce-related needs for the Asbury Park community.
All are welcome to share their ideas on the direction of the city’s workforce strategy.
The city is asking for feedback on the strengths of local workforce services already in place, the gaps in these services, and thoughts for improvements.
The City Council said it is committed to producing a plan that has actionable goals and improves outcomes for workers, job seekers, employers, and the local community.
