
For the first time ever a father/daughter duo won the 38th annual Jack Wright Ocean Mile Swim. Maddie Anderson was the overall winner in a time of 22:10 while dad, Iain Anderson, was the first male swimmer in a time of 23:09. Over 140 swimmers had registered for the initial swim on Saturday but that had to be cancelled because of foggy conditions.
Over 60 swimmers returned on Sunday to compete in water that was 56 degrees.
