Rodeo for Recreation at Stone Pony

The Asbury Park Mayor’s Rodeo for Recreation rides into the Stone Pony in Asbury Park Thurs., April 19.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and features Des and the Swagmatics performing some of their favorites as well as some country favorites.

There will also vbe a barbeque buffet, one hour open bar, a Coyote Ugly dance and fireworks.

More than $40,000 was raised last year by the event which ensures that city children are not turned away from participating in the summer recreation program.
