The Asbury Park Citizens on Patrol will begin a 10-week training program beginning September 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. and the following nine subsequent Thursdays.
For all persons interested, there will be an open house August 23 from 6 to 8 p.m in City Council Chambers. Members of the public are invited to attend to learn about the program.
Applicants to the program are required to be either an Asbury Park resident, work in Asbury Park or own real estate in the city. You also must agree to a background check, possess a motor vehicle license abstract in good standing and be at least 21 years of age.
