On Aug. 17 after a six week narcotic distribution investigation, the Neptune Township Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on the 1200 Block of 11th Avenue and made several arrests for drug and weapon charges.
Arrested during the warrant were residents Orlando Santiago, 37, Ruben Alicea, 39, Amanda Frangione, 28, Luis Perez, 26, Marguerit Torres, 54, and Ivette Torres, 55. Also arrested was Lara Belfiore, 29, of Ocean Township.
Recovered during the search warrant was more than 13 grams of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, a stun gun and drug packaging materials. $6,338 in cash was also seized.
Santiago and Frangione were charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (stun gun), Certain Person not to Possess a Weapon, Possession of Heroin w/Intent to distribute, Possession of Heroin w/intent to distribute (School Zone), Possession of Heroin w/intent to distribute (Park Zone), Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Santiago was remanded to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) to be held for a bail hearing. Frangione was released on a summons.
Alicea was charged with Possession of Cocaine w/Intent to distribute , Possession of Cocaine w/intent to distribute (School Zone), Possession of Cocaine w/intent to distribute (Park Zone), Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Alicea was remanded to MCCI to be held for a bail hearing.
Perez and Belfiore were charged with Possession of Cocaine w/Intent to distribute, Possession of Cocaine w/intent to distribute (School Zone), Possession of Cocaine w/intent to distribute (Park Zone), Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both Marguerit Torres and Ivette Torres were charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Perez, Belfiore, Marguerit Torres and Ivette Torres were all released on summonses.
