A double shooting in Asbury Park left two teenagers with gun shots wounds, with one critical and another with a non-life threatening injury.
According to Sgt. Michael Casey, Community Relations Director, on Oct. 15 about 9 p.m. Asbury Park Police Units responded to the area of 1100 Atlantic Avenue for the report of shots fired.
When they arrived police found one victim, a 15 year old with a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was taken to an area hospital
The last update what that the teenager was in critical but stable condition.
The crime scene was secured and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office also responded.
At the hospital police learned that there was another shooting victim, an 18-year-old, involved in the same incident who arrived at the hospital independently.
The older teen was shot in the left hand.
