The Asbury Park City Council is hosting a public participation meeting to discuss the upcoming Sunset Lake Master Plan Wed., Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.

The city’s engineering firm, T&M Associates, will be in attendance at the meeting which will take place in City Council Chambers. Attendees will be asked to provide their comments on improvements to Sunset Lake and Park.

Following the public participation meeting T&M Associates will be creating a draft of the Sunset Lake Master Plan which will be presented at a public meeting on a future date still to be determined.

“Public participation is an important part of this process,” said Councilperson Eileen Chapman, “We will be incorporating the public’s comments from the January 16th meeting into the draft of the Sunset Lake Master Plan, so it’s vital that everyone who loves and enjoys Sunset Lake take part.”

For more information on the Sunset Lake Master Plan, contact City Manager Michael Capabianco at 732-502-5755 or michael.capabianco@cityofasburypark.com.
