The Interlaken Garden Club is sponsoring a bus trip to Longwood Gardens on Wed., June 12 and has several seats available for anyone interested. The bus will be leaving from the Interlaken Boro Hall, 100 Grasmere Avenue at 8 a.m.
During the docent led Longwood Story Tour you will experience the garden legacy of Longwood founder, Pierre S. du-Pont and explore the seasonal highlights Longwood’s diverse gardens while learning its heritage and horticultural excellence.
This trip will highlight a dancing fountain performance that begins with a touch of narrated history and concluded with dynamic choreography marrying music and fountain features. Those attending will see what 1,719 jets can do from spinning and dancing to music to waters soaring as high as 175 feet.
