The night skies will be lit up along the shore this holiday weekend as towns set off their fireworks displays.
In Asbury Park the fireworks show will be on the Fourth of July at the beachfront with a rain date of July 6.
Bradley Beach will start off the holiday celebration on Wed., July 3 with its firework display on the beachfront promenade. Rain date for them is July 5. Check out www.bradleybeachnj.gov for more information.
Ocean Grove will have its fireworks following the annual July 4th parade which this year is being held on Sat., July 6. Fireworks will be at 9 p.m. on the beach.
The day will also include a celebration of Ocean Grove’s 150th anniversary. Visit www.oceangrove.org to learn more.
Looking forward the area fireworks displays will not end with the holiday.
Ocean Township will have fireworks July 3 in Palaia Park. And again Aug. 9 as part of the Ocean Township Italian-American Festival.
The festival runs from Aug. 9 through Aug. 11 at Joe Palaia Park, corner of Deal Rd. at 200 Whalepond Rd. Rain date is Aug. 11. Hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
