July is Family Month at William F. Larkin Golf Course at Colonial Terrace, 1003 Wickapecko Dr., and families are encouraged to enjoy some fun, uninterrupted time together on the golf course this month.
To promote the game of golf as a healthy family activity, youth ages seven to 17 golf free every day in July. There is a limit of one free golfer per paying adult.
The 2017 Junior Tour for golfers ages four to 17 kicks off Thurs., July 11. The tour consists of four events held on consecutive Thursdays, ending with the Junior Championship on August 1. More information can be found in the clubhouse or at ColonialTerraceGolf.org.
The annual Adult/Child Golf 9-Hole Golf Tournament takes place on Sun., July 14. Adults and children will team up and enjoy some friendly competition at the Township’s beautiful 9-hole golf course. The tournament is open to youth age 7 – 17 accompanied by an adult team member (over 21). Golfers of all levels are invited to participate in this fun family event. Teams can sign up at the clubhouse or online at download a registration form online.
William F. Larkin Golf Course at Colonial Terrace, Ocean Township’s beautiful municipal regulation 9-hole golf course, offers more than 2,600 yards of golf in a spectacular setting conveniently located near Route 35. Hours are 7 a.m. to dusk, seven days a week, weather permitting.
