Nine local volunteer EMS squads will hold a Steak Bake fundraiser Aug. 3 at the Bradley Beach Fire Department, 815 Main Street, Bradley Beach.
The 4th annual event, to benefit the squads of the EMS Council of New Jersey’s 1st District, will feature all-you-can-eat steak, salad, French fries, dessert, wine, beer and soda, as well as numerous door prizes. Cocktail hour is 6 to 7 p.m., with dinner immediately following. Tickets are $45 each and can be purchased at the door.
The 1st District squads are: Allenhurst Fire Department & First Aid Squad; Avon First Aid and Safety Squad; Belmar First Aid Squad; Bradley Beach First Aid Squad; Hamilton First Aid Squad; Manasquan First Aid Squad; Spring Lake First Aid and Emergency Squad; Wall Community First Aid Squad; and Wall Township First Aid and Rescue Squad.
The 90-year-old nonprofit New Jersey State First Aid Council, now doing business as the EMS Council of New Jersey, represents approximately 17,000 EMS volunteers affiliated with 260+ EMS agencies throughout the state.
