Mike Byrne, whose family members are well known performers at the Shore for half a century, will perform in Memorial Park in Neptune City Aug. 10.
The concert is free and open to the public. It was postponed from July 20 due to excessive heat.
This is Byrne’s first time performing in Neptune City.
His repertoire includes many Irish tunes but Byrne has a special affinity for Neil Diamond, John Denver and Bruce Springsteen as well.
He says he knows all their music so along with his three bandmates he can mix it up depending on what the crowd wants that night.
A guitar player, Byrne performs along with a pianist, percussionist and saxophone player.
Those attending are invited to bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy the show.
