Asbury Park City Manager Michael Capabianco has resigned. His final day will be Nov. 30.
The City Council confirmed Wednesday that he submitted his resignation.
He has served as the city manager since his appointment Oct. 28, 2015.
In a statement released Wednesday the mayor and council said, “The entire governing body wishes to recognize and thank Mr. Capabianco for his many achievements on behalf of the City during his tenure, which have improved the health, safety and welfare of the City and its residents, and wish to offer him their best wishes with his future endeavors. The mayor and council will be moving forward to appoint an interim replacement for Mr. Capabianco at an upcoming council meeting.”
