Interfaith Neighbors of Asbury Park is holding an open house at two of its locations to celebrate Giving Tuesday.
On Tues., Dec. 3 visitors are welcome to visit 810 Fourth Ave., home to the rental and mortgage assistance programs along with senior nutrition, Meals on Wheels program from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drop by and learn about IFN, enjoy a snack and tour the Meals on Wheels kitchen.
Kula Cafe,1201 Springwood Ave., is serving free hot chocolate all day with breakfast specials at $4 from 8 a.m.t o 11 a.m. and lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at $5.
The Business Development Center will also be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kula Urban Farm, 115 Atkins Ave., will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with hot cider, tea and snacks served all day.
Activities include a plant sale with succulents and plants in tea cups at prices from $3 to $10.
Paint a Rock and Hide It! Decorate a stone with a positive message to take with you and hide for someone to find and have their day brightened.
Tuesday evening there will be a Self Care workshop at the farm to help people learn how to enjoy the holiday season from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Suggested donation is $20.
The workshop will address seven simple self-care practices offering support through the season and into the new year.
It includes self oil message lesson, stress reducing herbs and herbs for digestive help that lead to feeling calmer and more present.
