Ocean Grove United’s annual dinner and fundraiser will be on behalf of Sam Jarmer, a young Ocean Grove lifeguard who suffered a spinal cord injury while on duty at the beach.
The event will be held at Sea Grass restaurant, 68 Main Ave., Ocean Grove Fri., Jan. 10 at 7 p.m.
There will be a three-course dinner for $40 including tax and gratuity. It is BYOB. Payable at the door

Additional donations can be made at the dinner or by mail.
Make check payable to the Desatnick Foundation, a nonprofit tax-exempt organization dedicated to helping patients and their families cope with spinal cord injuries. Mail check to OGU, PO Box 501, Ocean Grove, NJ 07756. All donations and proceeds will be bundled and earmarked for the injured lifeguard.
