The event, which raised over $50,000, was held Sunday at Asbury Lanes, which is operated by Salt Hotels.

Asbury Lanes is an iconic 1960s bowling alley-turned music venue which was renovated by iStar, the city’s master developer, last year.

Over 700 people attended the event where there was food, drink, games, trivia and a silent auction.

Live music was provided by local musicians including DJ Mick Hale, Connor Bracken, Des and the Swagmatics, DJ Values and DJ Atom Worth.

There was also a call for residents who did not attend to text AUSSIE to 91999 to donate.

Jenni Loughman, Ocean Township who is the and  chief operating officer for Salt Hotels, helped organize the event.

Salt Hotels are a collection of five boutique hotels, two in Asbury Park, including The Asbury Hotel and the Asbury Ocean Club.

Two others are in Provincetown, Massachusetts and one on Shelter Island, New York.
