The city of Asbury Park is expected to approve the spending of $23,390 on PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at its meeting May 13. The equipment includes face masks, gowns, face shields and goggles. Also on the agenda is a vote to exceed the 2.5 percent state budget cap limit by 3.5 percent, an increase of $1,531,620 prior to its introduction of the 2020 municipal budget.
