Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders and The Grunin Foundation have partnered to bring free Covid-19 testing to Asbury Park July 27, Aug. 8 and Aug. 14.
No appointment is necessary, simply walk up during the testing times and a health professional will conduct the test. You do not need to be symptomatic to be tested. The test consists of a nasal or oral swab.
Tests will be given on a first come/first served basis while supplies last. To be tested, all you will need to do is fill out a lab form that includes your date of birth and your contact information.
Results can take up to seven days and will be given by phone. For those with internet access, you will be able to check results online. More details on receiving results will be provided at testing time.
Tests will be given at the Asbury Park Transportation Center Wed., July 22 3 to 7 p.m. ; Mon., July 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Sat., Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and aug. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
