Thanks to so many generous people in the community, both those who donated and those who shopped for excellent bargains, the Ocean Grove Church’s bazaar raised over $8,000 to help support its local ministries including a food pantry, nursery school, youth ministries and opportunities for spiritual growth.
With tons of great items left over, the Ocean Grove Church will host a final “Bazaar Clear Out Sale” with 50 percent off the already low prices on all items (except for a few new pieces that came in this week.)
In addition, from noon to 1 p.m. bazaar attendees can buy a $3 large bag or a $5 extra large bag to fill them up with any of their final favorite treasures remaining.
“Our fundraising goal for this event is $10,000 so we’re really excited at the possibility of reaching it this Saturday,” said Martha Cuttrell, Fellowship Chairperson of The Ocean Grove Church. “We were especially pleased with the number of people attending last weekend who commented how very large and incredibly organized the bazaar sale was. Due to our strict mask requirements and the ability to easily control the number in attendance at all times, everyone seemed very comfortable on both Friday and Saturday walking around the treasure-filled tables.
“Not one complaint; just lots of thanks to the team of tireless workers who did an outstanding job of organizing and displaying so many beautiful things donated to us. We really are blessed with amazing people here at The Ocean Grove Church and welcome anyone interested in joining our family of friends for future events or worship gatherings.”
