The Center in Asbury Park and Center House have been serving people living with HIV/AIDS since 1992. With assistance for rent, and providing food and hygiene items the facility has attempted to improve the quality of life for those they serve. Most of the clients are not only living with this disease but also struggle with so much due to poverty.
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic The Center in Asbury Park has had to cancel its major fundraisers and is now seeking sponsors.
The Center is holding The Jersey Shore AIDS Walk on Oct. 4 to raise some funds but also to raise awareness about the plight of the folks served at the facility.
