There will be a special interfaith memorial service for the Rev. Gilbert Caldwell at Springwood Park on Sun., Sept. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Caldwell died, Fri., Sept. 4.
Several churches will participate along with organizations and representatives from causes that Caldwell supported during his time living in Asbury Park.
The musical directors of two local churches, Second Baptist and United Methodist, will prepare a music program for the memorial.
Also on that day, behind the Second Baptist Church, which is next to the park, the Mens Ministry will hold its annual fish fry, offering a fish sandwich, french fries and drink for $10.
