Take a walk in Kennedy Park in Asbury Park Sat., Oct. 17 as part of the Mayor’s Wellness Committee a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.
Kennedy Park is at 104 Grand Avenue, off Cookman Avenue.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon with Brianna Spahn, MS, PA-C, Breast Surgery with Hackensack Meridian Health, Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She will discuss prevention, risk factors and treatment options for breast health. Polli Schildge, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, will kick of the walk with a stretch, discuss the importance of staying active and demonstrate different moves you can do anywhere.
The walk will begin at 10:30 a.m. Those participating are asked to wear a face mask and comfortable walking attire. All attendees will receive a free gift.
