No Parking on Main Street While Paving Continues

   There will be no parking on Main Street in Asbury Park from Second Avenue to Main Avenue, Ocean Grove from April 9 to 10 to support paving operations.

Base paving for the remaining section of Main Street in Asbury Park will be conducted on the evening of Fri., April 9. On Sat., April 10 at 10 a.m. all travel and parking lanes on Main Street will be re-opened in the final striping configuration. The final paving operation for the project will take place several weeks later.

To support this paving operation, the following will be in effect:

Beginning on Fri., April 9 at 6 p.m. parking will be prohibited along both sides of the street on Main Street between Second Avenue to Main Avenue in Ocean Grove.

Parking will also be prohibited 100 feet from the intersections of each street in that area. The parking prohibition will be in place until 10 a.m. the following morning, April 10.

No Parking signs have been posted within these limits.

Vehicles parked within this restricted work zone are subject to be towed to other locations on-site or towed off-site, as directed by the Asbury Park Police Department in order to maintain safety – all at the owner’s expense.
