Due to milling and final paving of Main Street in Asbury Park parking will be prohibited on Main Street between First Avenue and Neptune border from Mon., April 26 through Fri., April 30 from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.
During this time, parking will also be prohibited on the first 250 feet of the 700 and 800 blocks of Asbury Avenue, Sewall Avenue, Monroe Avenue, Summerfield Avenue, Bangs Avenue, Mattison Avenue, Cookman Avenue and Springwood/Lake Avenues from Main Street.
There will be No Parking signs posted by the Police Department in the above-mentioned areas where parking will be prohibited. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause—however it is necessary in order to complete the NJDOT Route 71/Main Street project. Any vehicles left on the roadway in these areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.
