Neptune High School students helped collect food for a food drive hosted by the Neptune Senior Center.
The Neptune Senior Center hosted a drive-by food where 761 pounds of food was donated in honor of Older America’s Month and in support of this year’s theme, Building Stronger Communities.
Neptune High School and members of our greater community donated the food along with monetary donations of $215. This equates to 1,279 meals for members of our neighbors facing food insecurity.
The Ocean Grove Chamber of Commerce and other donors gave funds and seniors and Neptune Township Committeewoman Tassie York collected and sorted the food.
