Asbury Park officials have approved the return of the food trucks to the north end of the beachfront. They are scheduled to return on July 1.
The food trucks operated there from 2015 to 2018 at Seventh Avenue and the boardwalk. Tables will be provided at the site along with umbrellas and lighting.
The city’s beachfront redeveloper iStar owns the property where the food trucks sit.
In the past at the site was Coffee Truck, Betty’s Ice Box, Garden State Salad, and Playa Bowls among others.
