Join your neighbors and friends in support of the Ocean Grove Beautification Project at their largest fundraiser of the year scheduled for Sept. 18 and 19.
The Starving Artist will donate a percentage of each meal check on Sept. 18 and 19 to the all-volunteer OGBP group that purchases, plants, and maintains 20 gardens and five historical urns around town and 90 urns on the boardwalk.
Enjoy a delicious meal at The Starving Artist (47 Olin St. Ocean Grove from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday knowing a portion of your check will contribute to beautifying the town’s gardens for everyone to appreciate next season.
On display will be posters, brochures, information, and photos of the gardens and urns, a sign-up form for volunteers interested in joining this hard-working group (all levels of gardeners are welcome), and a donation jar to collect the necessary funding to buy plants and maintain the grounds and equipment.
The group will also have a table at the OG Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival Sat., Oct. 2, and will be handing donors signature mezzo trailing vines from the urns, irises the color of the Great Auditorium, and stunning red cannas.
