Candidates for the office of county surrogate and the Board of County Commissioners (formerly called Freeholders) can be viewed live on Zoom, Wed., Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
The League of Women Voters webinar will devote one-half of the program to the two candidates for the office of Surrogate, Republican Maureen T. Raisch, and Democrat Leslie B. Posnock for the five-year term. The second half of the program for County Commissioner will present candidates Republican Susan M. Kiley, and Democrat Michael Beson running for the three-year term.
Viewers can be part of this League-moderated, nonpartisan virtual forum from the comfort of their home, and submit questions in advance by registering at LWVsmc.org and clicking on the Big Red Button. This opportunity brings the candidates to you to help sort through the issues you care about.
Use the same registration process for our future candidate webinars, including the state Senate and Assembly race for Legislative District 11 on Tuesday, Oct. 5th. when details for that are posted.
