The Asbury Park Historical Society is hosting a Rocktober Clam Bake in honor of the city’s 150th anniversary Fri., Oct. 15 at Kennedy Park outside Cross and Orange restaurant on Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park.
The clam bake includes Maine lobster claws and tails, New England clam chowder, steamed littleneck clams, grilled shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob, red skin potato salad, homemade coleslaw, and a commemorative sesquicentennial pint glass.
There will be live music throughout the evening.
The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. and tickets are $65 each and there is a cash bar.
