Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is advising voters that the Monmouth County Election Offices, including the Superintendent of Elections, the Clerk of Elections, and the Board of Elections, will have extended hours leading up to the Nov. 2 General Election.

The election offices are located at 300 Halls Mill Road in Freehold Township with normal business hours on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In addition, the offices will be open on Friday, Oct. 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to allow for voters to apply for and drop off their Vote by Mail ballots.

Any voter may apply in-person or by designated messenger at the Monmouth County Clerk of Elections Office, located at 300 Halls Mill Road, up until 3 p.m. the day before Election Day, Mon., Nov. 1.

Voters can return their completed general election mail-in ballot to the County Board of Elections via mail, dropbox, or in-person by the following deadlines, for the ballot to be considered timely and to be canvassed.

If a voter would prefer to deliver his or her completed mail-in ballot in person, the deadline for the County Board of Elections at 300 Halls Mill Road in Freehold to receive mail-in ballots in-person is 8 p.m. on General Election Day, Nov. 2. If delivered in-person, the voter or the bearer must present identification when surrendering the ballot.

Registered voters can also cast their ballots in person, using a voting machine from now through Nov. 1 at select locations including the Neptune Senior Center and in Long Branch at the Arts and Cultural Center, 577 Broadway.

If a voter is returning his or her completed mail-in ballot by mail via the United States Postal Service (USPS), the ballot must be postmarked on or before General Election Day, Nov. 2, and received by the County Board of Elections by 8 p.m. on Nov. 8.

Voters may also choose to deposit the completed mail-in ballot in one of the 35 secure drop boxes located throughout the County. The deadline for delivering the ballot via dropbox is 8 p.m. on General Election Day, Nov. 2. Visit the website at MonmouthCountyVotes.com to view the addresses of the dropbox locations.

If any voter has lost or misplaced his or her mail-in ballot, contact the County Clerk of Elections Office immediately by calling 732-431-7790 or visiting the County Clerk of Elections Office in person to receive a replacement ballot.
