Fire Damages Neptune City Laundromat

Firefighters and police responded to a report of a fire at Monmouth Linen Laundromat, 316 West Sylvania Ave, Neptune City on March 2, 2022 at 8:57 p.m.

When they arrived patrols found heavy smoke and a small fire inside a clothes bin at the laundromat. The Neptune City Fire Department along with mutual from surrounding towns responded and extinguished the fire. Damage was contained to the interior of the laundromat.

The fire was determined not to be suspicious and is under investigation by the Monmouth County Fire Marshal’s Office. No injuries were reported.

Officers responding: Captain Mitchell, Police Officer. Hallgring, Det. Devlin, Police Officer.Williams and Avon police.

Also, Mutual Aid Fire and EMS Agencies: Neptune City Fire/EMS, Avon Fire, Wall Fire, Wanamassa Fire, and Asbury Park Fire.
