Verano, a multi-state cannabis operator in the U.S. with two existing New Jersey dispensaries in Elizabeth and Lawrence, will begin selling marijuana at its Neptune location at 9 a.m. Fri., Aug. 5.
The Verano owned and operated Zen Leaf dispensary in Neptune on Route 66 near the Asbury Circle has been serving medical patients at that location since April of last year.
Beginning Friday it will serve adult customers who will be able to legally purchase cannabis. Verano is the sole operator currently permitted to sell recreational cannabis in Neptune.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. The Zen Leaf Blimp will fly overhear during the morning and there will be giveaways and food trucks serving free food.
Customers will also find product specials including sunglasses, tee shirts and new live resin products.
