After stopping a 33-year-old Long Branch woman for an equipment violation, officers found she was driving with a suspended drivers license. She was processed and released on 2 summonses, with a pending court date. Sgt Lipari was the arresting officer.

Officers were dispatched to a Cedar Avenue residence for a report of a disturbance. Once on scene, officers arrested a 25-year-old Allenhurst woman on assault and assault with a weapon charges. She was processed and released on criminal summonses, as per guidelines. Sgt Lipari was the arresting officer.

During the late evening hours, officers responded to a report of breaking glass at a Lake Drive residence. The area was thoroughly checked and nothing was found out of order. Ptl Eustace and Ptl Williams were the responding officers.
10/26/22
During the late morning hours, officers received a report of a vehicle that struck a parked vehicle and left the scene. After a follow up investigation, the driver was identified as a 35-year-old local woman. She was issued summonses for driving while unlicensed, driving with suspended driving privileges, failure to report a crash, leaving the scene of a crash and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, all with a pending court date. Ptl Rapolla was the investigating officer.

During the early afternoon hours, officers responded to a Hume Street address on a report of a woman asking for police assistance. Upon further investigation, officer determined the woman had been assaulted by an ex-boyfriend. When he later returned to the scene, he was taken into custody without incident and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief. He was turned over to the County Jail, as per guidelines. Sgt DiBona was the arresting officer.

Officers stopped a 52-year old Lakewood for a motor vehicle violation and found the man was unlicensed (never having had a license). He was processed and issued one summons, with a pending court date. Ptl Edson was the arresting officer.
Between Oct. 16 and Oct. 31st, officers responded to 3 first aid/fire calls within the borough.
