Asbury Park is hosting several tree lightings this holiday season.
On Fri., Dec. 2 the Firemen’s Park Tree Lighting on Main Street is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. It will also include a visit from Santa, festive music, holiday treats and hot chocolate.
On Sat., Dec. 10 the Asbury Park Kwanzaa Celebration is scheduled at 2 p.m. at the Asbury Park Senior Center, 1201 Springwood Ave, second floor. This celebration of culture and community will feature cultural music, performances by local artists, refreshments, giveaways.
Also on Sat., Dec. 10 the Springwood Park Tree Lighting is scheduled at 5 p.m. at the park on Springwood and Atkins Avenues. The event will include an appearance by Santa, holiday music and treats for the kids.
