The heat is out at the Ballard United Methodist Church in Asbury Park and a fundraising effort is underway to make the necessary repairs to get it back on.
Church officials estimate it will cost $20,000 for a new boiler and a new roof, which is also needed.
To make a donation to help repair the 75-year-old church on Fourth Avenue send a check payable to Ballard UMC, 1515 Fourth Ave., Asbury Park.
