Main Street: Ricardo I Lopez-Garzon, 25 of Bradley Beach was arrested and charged with making a false police report. Police initially responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle, however investigation revealed Lopez-Garzon had lent out the vehicle to an associate who was involved in a hit and run accident in another jurisdiction. Ptlm. Sean Johnsen made the arrest.
Main Street: Miguel A. Reyes-Nicolas, 24 of Bradley Beach was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon. Sgt. Anthony Murray and Ptlm. Justin Poblete handled the investigation and arrest.
K-9 units were deployed a total of five times to assist neighboring towns in vehicle searches, evidence searches and tracking. All five deployments yielded successful results for the investigations in question.
The Bradley Beach Police Department investigated five motor vehicle accidents between January 10, 2023 and January 24, 2023.
