Police arrested a 44-year-old Long Branch man on an Allenhurst warrant, totaling more than $1,500. He was processed and transported to the county jail, in default of bail. Ptl Williams was the arresting officer.

Officers arrested a 52-year-old Lakewood man on an outstanding Allenhurst warrant. He was processed and released, after posting cash bail, with a new court date. Ptl Kroeger was the arresting officer.

After stopping a 46-year-old Oakhurst man for a moving violation, police found he was driving with an expired and suspended driver’s license. He was processed and released on 3 summonses, with a pending court date. The vehicle was released to a properly licensed driver. Sgt Lipari was the arresting officer.

After stopping a 40-year-old New York man for a suspicious temporary vehicle registration, police confirmed the vehicle registration was fraudulent, the vehicle was unregistered and had no insurance. The subject was processed and released, after being issued 4 summonses, with a pending court date. Ptl Rapolla was the arresting officer.

Police charged a 21-year-old New York man with driving with a suspended license, after stopping him for careless driving. He was processed and released on 2 summonses, with a pending court date. Ptl Williams was the arresting officer.

After stopping a 36-year-old Asbury Park man for a moving violation, police found he was unlicensed (never having had a license) and his driving privileges were also suspended. The subject was arrested when an active warrant was found out of Marlboro. He was processed and released, after posting cash bail. He was issued 3 summonses, with a pending court date. Ptl Edson was the arresting officer.

Police charged a 39-year-old Ocean Twp man with driving while unlicensed (never having had a license, as well as driving while suspended, after stopping his vehicle for a motor vehicle violation. He was processed and released on 5 summonses, with a pending court date. Sgt Lipari was the arresting officer.

Officers responded to the beachfront upon receiving a report of a surfer in distress. While on location, the surfer was found to be fine and in no distress. Sgt Lipari and Ptl Rapolla were the responding officers.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Ocean Avenue for a report of an erratic driver. The vehicle in question was not located and the caller did not wish to sign complaints. Sgt Lipari was the responding officer.

A resident came into headquarters reporting a fraudulent incident involving a check. A report was taken and an investigation was opened. SO II Griffin was the investigating officer.

After responding to a Cedar Avenue residence for a report of a physical dispute, police arrested a 38-year-old Allenhurst man for simple assault. He was processed and released on his own recognizance, with a pending court date. Ptl Edson was the arresting officer and was assisted by Sgt DiBona.
