The public is invited to attend the Memorial Day Service hosted by the Veterans Memorial Park Committee of Neptune Sun., May 26 at the park.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. led by the Neptune High School NJROTC Color Guard, followed by the singing of The Star Spangled Banner.
Included in the program is memorializing the 69 Neptune residents who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Speaking each of these veterans’ names is key to the event, organizers said.
The program will end with the singing of God Bless America.
The park, 703 Old Corlies Ave., will celebrate its 10th anniversary in November.
