Asbury Park recently completed installation of a new playground on Asbury Park beach at Second Avenue.

The custom configured playground, which meets all environmental and safety requirements, offers two areas—one geared toward children ages two to five and the other for ages five to 12.

“It’s our goal to provide the children of Asbury Park with safe and enjoyable recreation areas. The installation of the new playground at Second Avenue in time for summer is a testament to our commitment,”  Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn said.“We extend our gratitude to the Department of Public Works for their coordination with Whirl Construction in making this possible.”

The playground is located on Second  Avenue Beach and is free to the public—beach passes are not required for entry
