Asbury Park is offering free Asbury Park Recreation Department Beach Access Cards to families of Asbury Park youth. Beach cards will allow one parent/guardian to bring children ages 5 to 12 from their household (a maximum of four children per adult) to Asbury Park beaches free of charge from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Mon., June 24.
Registration and proof of residency is required. Beach Access Cards are limited to one card per household. The card allows access for one parent/guardian and the children in their household ages 5 to 12 only (max of four children per adult). Cards are valid starting June 24 through Labor Day and are not replaceable if lost or stolen.
Asbury Park Recreation Department Beach Access Card holders can access the beach of their choice by showing the card to the beach badge checker at any beach entrance Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Register in-person at City Hall (1 Municipal Plaza) Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or register online at www.cityofaburypark.com/recreation. Once registration is approved, Asbury Park Recreation Department Beach Access Cards can be picked up in-person at City Hall.
