It’s time to get all “Dolled Up” at the Township of Ocean Historical Museum’s American Doll Tea, Sun., Aug. 4 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
This annual event features activities that include a doll fashion show and a themed craft to take home. The children will listen to an original story about the Woolley sisters’ adventures as they sit with their dolls on the quilts made by museum’ volunteers. There will be lemonade and iced tea to wash down home baked goodies.
Purchases can be made at the Doll Boutique which will be selling handmade doll outfits, and attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Doll House display.
This program is for children five-years and older accompanied by their doll or teddy bear and a young at heart adult.
Reservations are required. Tickets are limited and are on sale now, $30 admits one adult and one child ($10 for each additional child and $25 for an additional adult).
