National Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off in Bradley Beach with Viva Bradley Beach Sept. 14 in Riley Park.
The free festival runs from 2 to 8 p.m. and celebrates Hispanic music, dance and food.
Among the performers are Eco Del Sur and Villa Vallenado Cumbia Band. The festival offers a free salsa dance lesson on the park dance floor at 3 p.m. and the event also includes a student dance performance from the Mexican dance group at the borough elementary school.
DJ Jay will also have the music playing all afternoon and into the evening. Several crafters and artists will showcase and sell their wares throughout the day.
